the Author
Summer Rogers Martin is a Kentucky native who
spent much of her childhood in Costa Rica and Venezuela, as
the daughter of missionaries. Later she returned to
Lexington, Kentucky with her family. A graduate of Lee
University (Tennessee), Summer currently works in marketing
and web design. As a working mom herself, Summer is very
sensitive to the needs and concerns of working mothers and
their children. Mommy and Me Days was written to preserve
some special memories of the times she and her daughter,
Kaylea have spent together. The book has been a joint effort
between Summer and her own mother, Debi Rogers, who provided
the illustrations.
